SAIC Software Test Engineer in COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado
Description
SAIC has an opening for a Software Test Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the United States Space Force National Test and Training Center – Digital develop, implement, and document test procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
Perform functional, performance, security and regression testing in an M&S Framework software environment
Recommend procedure adjustments that will overcome minor software issues until they are corrected
Analyze system requirement documents and develop test cases that will isolate and illuminate those requirements in the system’s software
Create problem reports and technical letters for the reporting of software issues
Working in an Agile development environment
Lead and mentor junior engineers and provide oversite and guidance
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
Experience working with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience in Test Engineering execution and development across the software stack
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Must have a current Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret
Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
