SAIC Project Manager in CRANE, Indiana

Description

SAIC is seeking a Project Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. Work will be performed onsite.

The Project Analyst will oversee multiple smaller projects, and must be detail oriented, tracking multiple contract buys on multiple contracts. They will perform Operational Support tasks for the 18G FST.

Job Description:

  • Oversees multiple smaller projects, detail oriented, track multiple contract buys on multiple contracts. Performs Operational Support tasks for the 18G FST.

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.

  • Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years or master's degree and one (1) years of related experience or equivalent

  • Military background

  • Excellent communication skills; inter-personal; organizational and detail-oriented

  • Thrives in a deadline-driven environment

  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple project assignments

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Microsoft Project) including word-processing, presentation, and spreadsheet and integrated software applications is required

Clearance Requirement:

Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Able to start once interim clearance is granted.
