SAIC Senior Logistics Program Integrator in HUNTSVILLE, Alabama
Description
SAIC is currently looking to hire a Senior Logistics Program Integrator to join our TAGM team located in Huntsville, AL.
This is a hybrid position at the discretion of the Huntsville, AL Army customer (combination of in-office and remote work).
Job Duties:
The individual will be working in a fast-paced environment performing programmatic and logistics resource support to the TAGM Project Office, Logistics Directorate for the Javelin family of products.
Tasks include analyzing, organizing, planning and administering various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance/repair activities for Javelin programs using established procedures.
Analyzes basic contractual documents, technical data, customer usage data, customer maintenance practices, customer operation characteristics, and related reports for assigned contracts to determine spares provisioning or maintenance/repair requirements.
Assists in developing logistics plans to enhance distribution of goods and supplies.
Follows established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
Assists in conducting distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies for achieving desired delivery times.
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Answers inquiries relative to logistics activities of the program office and participates in program office reviews and logistics meetings.
May serve as a core member of select Integrated Product Teams (IPT) for the family of Javelin products.
May perform other logistics/programmatic related duties as assigned by the Program Office leadership.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree and ten (10) years of experience; 4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
Required Clearance:
- An active Secret Clearance(US Citizenship required) is required to begin employment.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with weapon system acquisition, life-cycle sustainment, reviewing project implementation, and gathering data on project execution.
Experience effectively and efficiently managing human, financial, and material resources to accomplish the organization’s mission.
Competent in financial management, human resource management, and information management requirements related to logistics / life-cycle sustainment efforts.
Experience collaborating with various weapon systems stakeholders, Division Chiefs, PEO staff, and external organizations as needed.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
Prior experience as a Product Support Manager (PSM)
DOD Acquisition Logistics certifications and/or formal Acquisition Logistics training preferred.
DAWIA / DAU professional certification in Life-Cycle Logistics / Program Management / other (level II / III)
