SAIC Network Engineer Team Manager in REMOTE WORK, Alabama
Description
SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Network Engineer Team Manager for a team of network engineers and technicians supporting our customer, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program to oversee a team focused on operational excellence
Job Duties:
Conducting planned and coordinated network maintenance
Break/fix actions
Service level agreements (SLAs) performance, incident resolution, ticket queue management,
Customer service actions and other enterprise network operations activities in the USACE OCIO/G-6 environment, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE O-CIO G6 policies and procedures.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and nine (9)+ years’ related experience; additional four (4) years’ experience accepted in lieu of degree
Experience managing teams of 10+ direct reports in a technology discipline (engineering, operations, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency with enterprise network monitoring, IT service, and team collaboration tools including SolarWinds, ServiceNow, SCOM, Spectrum, SOI, Cisco PI, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Teams etc.
Demonstrated competency writing clear technical documents including but not limited to standard operating procedures (SOPs), handbooks, guides, install documents, manuals, etc.
Experience interacting with Internet Service Providers (ISP) during buildout or troubleshooting outages
Brand agnostic experience maintaining, upgrading, and fixing network infrastructure hardware and software
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, CASP+, ect.) to be considered for this position
REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; SAIC will help to obtainMust be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
