SAIC Mobile Application Developer in REMOTE WORK, Virginia
Description
SAIC is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Mobile Application Developer to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career. The right candidate will bring an interest in applying his or her talents to national and homeland security problems. The Mobile App Developer will design, develop, and implement Java Spring boot based microservices to support business requirements/logic.
Hybrid Schedule: Onsite every other Wednesday in Ashburn, VA
Job Responsibilities
Follow life cycle methodologies and develop/test Java Spring Boot based microservices as part of an enterprise cross-platform mobile team.
Resolve technical issues through debugging, analysis, research and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Support building and distributing iOS and Android mobile apps through a general understanding of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development and deployment.
Work with users in an Agile development approach to understand and document requirements in JIRA, then elicit feedback and refine solution through demonstrations.
Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews and document the design according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodology.
Qualifications
Required:
BS in Computer Science or related filed and 9 years of related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship.
Using Java for Microservices development.
Utilizing Spring Boot framework.

Strong initiative: must be able to take a high-level requirement, ask questions/seek clarifications, and get the job done
Good written/oral communication skills and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels
Experience working in high velocity, fast paced teams and environments
Experience working individually and collaboratively in response to changing mission needs or requirements
Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
