Description
SAIC is seeking a Digital Workplace Innovation Solutions Architect Senior Principal to work within the Innovation Factory. SAIC’s Innovation Factory performs research and development applying commercial technology to challenging government solutions, creating offerings, capabilities, and intellectual property driving corporate and market technology strategy. This is an exciting role using creativity, innovation, and a breadth of subject matter expertise (SME) across Digital Workplace including user experience, device lifecycle, collaboration, mobility, support services with working knowledge of supporting technologies, especially Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), government security domain, commercial cloud solutions, and devices.
This is a full-time remote job that can be worked anywhere within the US.
Job Duties:
Exercises sound technical and business judgement in forming Digital Workplace technology strategy
Develops innovating solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Consults using developed Digital Workplace subject matter expertise (SME) in collaboration with business development, capture, proposal, program and project managers, and other team members to optimize proposals and program delivery strategy
Identifies areas of future research & development and develops business cases for procuring innovation investment
Analyzes internal and external Digital Workplace market and anticipates demand for strategic direction
Interfaces with variety of technical experts and roles internally and with customers
Evaluates partners, products and features and performing multiple value adding integrations
Experiments with advanced technologies developing a value adding digital workplace strategy
Meets with customers on SAIC's capabilities, services and solutions for business development and capture efforts
Incorporates market segmentation, long-term positioning, and opportunity assessment from a solution strategy perspective
Uses Digital Workplace and AI/ML domain subject matter expertise to form strategic positions and authors whitepapers
Qualifications
E DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Bachelors in Computer Science or related discipline and 14 years or more experience. Masters in Computer Science or related discipline and 12 years or more experience.
Ability to work independently and as a team member in an agile development process
Must have Digital Workplace and AI/ML domain subject matter expertise
Must be creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to sustain your own assigned project work in an innovative environment with changing priorities
Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with team members, senior management and customers
Must have extensive software development background including advanced algorithms
Must have a strong background of AI/ML, Generative AI, Large Language Model (LLM) applications, Prompt Engineering, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
General AWS and Azure cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and workload automation experience
Working knowledge Microsoft 365 workloads including SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Teams/Skype for Business architecture and infrastructure
Working knowledge of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), application management and stores architecture and infrastructure
Working knowledge of various Operating Systems (Windows, iOS, MacOS, Android, Chromebook, Linux) lifecycles and their security aspects
Working knowledge of Digital Experience Management (DEM)/ User Experience Management (UEM) architecture and infrastructure
Ability to develop, document, and ensure adherence to technical standards
Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including customer facing documents, reports, whitepapers, technical guides and presentations
Develops and delivers collaborative customer presentations
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Working knowledge of advanced intelligent rapid search techniques
Working knowledge of Data Science
Working knowledge of various virtual desktop technologies architecture and infrastructure
Knowledge of Augmented Reality (AR)/Mixed Reality (MR)/Virtual Reality (VR)
Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT)
Working knowledge of FedRAMP, Impact Levels, FIPS
Experience working Agile Scrum development
Target salary range: $175,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
